As the NHS begins its long recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, many NHS outpatient appointments and planned operations remain cancelled or postponed and waiting lists are growing. Mr Willmott can offer outpatient consultations and surgery if required at either KIMS Hospital in Maidstone or Spire Sussex in Hastings. Appointments are usually available within a week. Both of these hospitals have comprehensive precautions in place to minimise the risk of coronavirus transmission. All staff wear masks; consultation rooms are cleaned and decontaminated between each patient; numbers of patients in the clinic are limited to allow social distancing; Mr Willmott has a weekly COVID test himself to ensure that he is not carrying the virus; if surgery is required, all patients are screened for coronavirus.

You do not need medical insurance to see Mr Willmott: if you fund your own treatment, a GP referral is not required. An initial consultation on this basis is £200. Many medical insurers have recently removed the requirement for a GP referral, but if you plan to use your medical insurance, you must check this with your insurer.

To book an appointment at KIMS, telephone: 01622 237727.

For Spire Sussex, telephone: 01424 554769.
